Duffey was named to the HERO Sports All-America Freshman Team. He came in and took over the starting roll in his first year and started in six games. He was the team’s leading rusher with 838 yards and six touchdowns. Duffey rushed for at least 100 yards four times in games against Mississippi College, Alabama State, Grambling State and Alabama A&M.
